Access to functions is defined by rights. Each function of the software can be addressed individually.
A role consists of a specific set of rights. Roles can be freely defined and classified by system administrators.
Each user has a role in his or her core business area. A user can also have different roles in other business units and be assigned to several roles at the same time.
Users can be assigned separate roles for each master library, project and master data type, which control in detail what content the user can view and edit.
Any number of roles can be assigned to a user group. Each user in this user group then has all rights associated with these roles. Using so-called “view sets”, user groups can be assigned special views in order to adapt the interface to different requirements and purposes. For example, an individual user interface can be created for sales with specific or important information for this user group.
